We are a small, family-owned and operated business, proudly serving the amazing Ponsonby community since 1996 — and we’re incredibly proud to still be here nearly 30 years on. Chambers is run by me, Erin (second from left) and exceptional customer service is truly at the heart of everything we do.

So, what makes us different from the bigger guys? I don’t just run the business — I work full-time in store and manage both our physical and online shop myself. If you ever need help, have a question, or just want to say hello, please reach out. I’m always here, and I genuinely love hearing from our customers.

Chambers began many years ago with my gorgeous mum at the reins, originally focusing on beautiful linen and gifts. Over time, we’ve grown and evolved, dropping the original name to simply Chambers and transforming into a lifestyle store filled with fashion, gifts, accessories and homewares. We’re proud to be leading stockists of much-loved fashion brands including Stella and Gemma, Elm Lifestyle, Foxwood, Tirelli, Betty Basics Mi Moso, Italian Star, and more. We’re also exclusive New Zealand stockists of the stunning Bemboka Blankets, alongside so many exciting and thoughtfully chosen gifts, homewares, accessory and lifestyle brands.

These beautiful brands — and many others — have helped shape Chambers into the vibrant, welcoming store it is today. We’re constantly sourcing high-quality products both locally and overseas, so there’s always something new and exciting to discover when you visit us.

Our friendly Chambers team will always welcome you with a smile and do everything we can to make your shopping experience special. And if we can’t tempt you with a purchase? That’s okay too — pop in for a chat or a laugh. We love keeping things simple, with good old-fashioned small-business retailing and genuinely great service.
