Returns Policy
Thank you so much for shopping at Chambers. If you are not happy with your purchase we will happily offer you a store credit or online voucher code but we do not offer refunds so please consider this when purchasing. Goods must be returned within 14 days of purchase. You are also welcome to return goods to our Ponsonby store.
We will provide an exchange under the following terms:
- We require a receipt or proof of purchase.
- Goods must be returned with 14-days of purchase
- Goods must be returned in original condition as purchased with labels and tickets attached
- Any purchases must not have been worn, washed or used
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned such as sale items, discounted items and stationery such as cards, books and magazines and swimwear that has hygiene stickers removed.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs and arranging your own return courier/postage to us. Shipping costs are non-refundable. You should consider using a trackable shipping service as we don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
As we are a small business we are unable to hold items that are waiting for exchanges.
To Return an Item for a Credit or Exchange
There are two ways of returning an item for a credit or exchange
1. You return your item to us in suitable tracked packaging (as we cannot guarantee we will receive your item) and enclose a note stating your name, order number and whether you would like to exchange for an item or receive a credit voucher. Credit vouchers have a six month expiry. Bear in mind we are unable to hold items that are waiting for returns so please consider this when using this option and provide some alternatives. We will need to charge you for the return courier so please provide a contact email or phone number so we can contact you for payment of the courier or call us and arrange payment prior to sending.
2. You contact us to advise you are returning an item and you purchase the item online that you are substituing it for. This way your exchange item is confirmed and payment for the courier has been made. When we receive the returned item back we refund you. This option is only available when the exchanged product is the same price or greater value and must be done within 14 days of ordering.
Goods that are deemed as faulty we will of course follow the consumers guarantee act.
